RAPESEED OIL

Oil plants, which are a source of oil and valuable protein feed for farm animals, have a privileged place among crops. In Poland, as well as in other countries of moderate climate, high-yielding rapeseed is very popular. The oil produced from it is valued for its nutritious profile of fatty acids, related mainly to the lowest content of saturated fatty acids. In addition, it is a source of unsaturated fatty acids, contains 45-55% oleic acid, 16-22% linoleic acid and 7-10% linolenic acid.

Rapeseed oil also contains bioactive substances: tocopherols, sterols, phenolic compounds, carotenoids and phospholipids that have a positive effect on organisms. It has been observed that the meat of chickens fed with mixtures with rapeseed oil is characterized by significantly better taste values ??than the birds in relation to which mixtures with soybean oil were used.

Rapeseed oil is perfect for human and animal nutrition, and is also used in the fuel industry as a raw material for the production of high-quality methyl esters.
